Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Breast Care Nurse Specialist to join the breast multidisciplinary team in secondary care. You will liaise with patients, carers and clinicians, provide information, Holistic Needs Assessments and support for people with early and metastatic breast cancer from diagnosis through their pathway.

The role involves MDT meetings, clinic sessions, Nurse Led clinics and telephone advice, with opportunities to develop advanced communication

Responsabilités

• Liaise with patients, carers and clinicians providing information and holistic needs assessments.
• Support patients with early and metastatic breast cancer from diagnosis through their care pathway.
• Cover clinical commitments such as MDT meetings, surgical and oncology clinic sessions, nurse-led clinics and telephone advice.
• Develop advanced communication skills to facilitate breaking bad news and provide psychological support to patients and carers.
• Provide specialist nursing knowledge to educate and support patients and families in breast cancer care.
