Job summary

Physicians Surgical Hospitals LLC is seeking a Breast Care Center Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for day-shift, full-time work in Amarillo, TX. The role supports both clinical and administrative tasks within a clinic-based care team led by physicians or advanced practice providers.

Requirements include CMA or RMA certification, completion of an accredited MA program, EMR and MS Office familiarity, and BLS certification soon after hire. Prior clinic/hospital experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
• Current national certification as a CMA or RMA.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant Certified (CMA) provides superior patient care and performs both clinical and administrative tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
• Support clinical tasks and administrative duties as part of daily clinic operations.
• Maintain documentation and ensure readiness for patient interactions and procedures.
