The Nurse Navigator works with a multidisciplinary team, guiding patients from prevention through diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and survivorship, ensuring seamless care and advocacy for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Indiana or compact state).
• BSN degree required.
• 2 years oncology nursing experience required.
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN/AOCN/AOCNS/AOCNP) within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about breast cancer treatment options and care plans.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams including physicians, radiology, surgery, and pathology.
• Advocate for patients and streamline the care experience from diagnosis through survivorship.
