Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Breakfast Attendant to maintain a welcoming breakfast area, ensure proper setup, service, and cleanliness, and uphold brand standards. You will manage light inventory, assist with prepared foods, restock, and clear tables.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English with guests and team.
• Able to follow a checklist and take inventory of supplies.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Able to work without constant supervision.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Engages with guests during breakfast and responds to needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain breakfast area with brand standards.
• Takes daily inventory of food, beverages and supplies.
• Assist with setup of prepared foods (fruit, coffee, juices).
• Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups and products.
• Arrange cold foods like pastries and cereals.
• Clear and clean tables as vacated; restock self-service items.
• Wash and store serving equipment; return supplies.
• Inspect for safety hazards and check equipment operating condition.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
