Job summary

Cambria Hotel Omaha Downtown is seeking a Breakfast Server on a part-time basis. You will prepare and serve hot breakfast for guests, set up and break down the breakfast buffet, and keep the breakfast and lobby areas clean and organized.

The role requires excellent guest service, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, and OHM offers growth opportunities and employee perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve hot breakfast for guests, ensuring policy compliance.
• Set up and disassemble the breakfast buffet and keep it stocked.
• Maintain a clean breakfast and lobby area.
• Provide superior guest service and anticipate needs.
• Clear tables and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Conduct inventory of food items and restock as needed.
• Follow state, county, and company health and safety regulations.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform.
• Embrace OHM culture and safety initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Prepare and serve hot breakfast for guests, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Set up and disassemble the breakfast buffet, keeping it well-stocked during service.
• Maintain a clean and organized breakfast/lobby area.
• Provide superior guest service, fulfilling requests and anticipating needs.
• Clear tables and clean/sanitize work areas, including countertops, utensils, equipment, and floors.
• Conduct inventory of food items, stock supplies, and assist with product storage.
• Follow state, county, and company health and safety regulations.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform.

Hours:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Light Work: Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. Requires significant walking or standing.
• May occasionally lift in excess of 40 pounds.

Physical Activity:

• Activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive motion.

Environmental Conditions:

• Primarily inside with protection from weather but not necessarily temperature changes.
