Job summary

Pepperjax Development Company in the United States is seeking skilled prep and line cooks to prepare delicious breakfast and lunch meals according to our menu. You will be in charge of cooking and preparing food as well as ensuring meals are presented to customers in an attractive and timely manner.

Ideal candidates have proven cooking experience, a strong commitment to sanitation, and the stamina to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• High level of creativity and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication organizational and time management skills
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field and/or relevant coursework

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while it is cooking to ensure quality
• Ensure great presentation by arranging and garnishing food before serving
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
