Job Title: Breakfast Host at Residence Inn Winston-Salem

The Residence Inn Winston-Salem is now hiring a Breakfast Host to join our team! This is a first shift position (early morning hours, finished no later than noon) with shifts available 7 days a week, including weekends.

Pay and Benefits: The rate of pay is $15.00 per hour. Additional benefits include a quarterly bonus plan, 401k with employer match, and an option for daily pay through DailyPay.

Responsibilities

• Offer prompt and courteous service to ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and guest-ready appearance of the outlet.

Pre-Requisites

Associates must have access to guestrooms and property, with honesty and trustworthiness essential. Passing the required security clearance is mandatory.

• Experience in food and beverage service is helpful but not required.

Essential Job Functions

Must be able to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating.

• Push/pull up to 60 pounds and lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
• Stand for up to eight hours, and perform physical activities like bending, stretching, and reaching.
• Visual and auditory acuity are required.
• Ability to speak and read English; additional languages may be helpful.
• Maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times.

Knowledge in:

• Menu items and beverage options.
• Brand operation standards.
• Local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
• Hotel operations, including daily events, updates, and procedures.
• Property details, services, hours, room types, rates, and discounts.

• Ability to suggest and serve quality food and beverages according to standards.

Abilities:

• Multitask effectively while maintaining guest service focus.
• Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and support teams.

• Work collaboratively in cleaning, side work, food prep, and storage tasks.

Specific Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the dining area and supplies in a guest-ready state.
• Close shift by cleaning and restocking supplies for the next day.
• Follow safety and security procedures, including emergency protocols.
• Provide high-quality products and services to guests.
• Complete all required brand standard documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned within capability.

Working Conditions

Stand and walk for extended periods, maintain a friendly professional appearance, and be flexible with work schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed 24/7.

Advancement Opportunities
