Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, organized, clean, and standardized presentation.
- Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed daily.
- Order or purchase food supplies.
- Prepare foods such as fresh fruit, coffee, and juices.
- Set up serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and other products.
- Arrange cold foods like sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal.
- Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
- Wipe up spills and remove trash.
- Restock self-service food and supplies as needed.
- Wash serving equipment and return it to storage.
- Return reusable food supplies to storage.
- Vacuum and sweep carpets and floors.
- Mop floors.
- Dust, brush, polish, and vacuum furniture.
- Clean room decorations, appliances, and surfaces using appropriate cleaners.
- Inspect areas for safety hazards and equipment conditions.
- Report lost and found items, maintenance issues to supervisor and maintenance team.
- Provide excellent guest service.
- Wear proper clothing as per company policy, including non-slip shoes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- One year hostess experience in a restaurant is required.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Knowledge of health department standards for food sanitation and safety.
