Hyatt Place Fairbanks, proudly managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is hiring a Breakfast Host. This role supports the breakfast buffet, maintains a clean dining area, and ensures guests receive excellent service in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and hospitality experience is preferred. Shifts from 5am to 12pm with varied days, including weekends and holidays, are common.

Summary:

This position is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast buffet while ensuring the dining area remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to food safety, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service. This position also supports inventory management, minimizes waste, maintains equipment and sanitation standards, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hotel's commitment to quality hospitality.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to obtain any government-required or brand-required permits, licenses, or certificates. Up to 40 hours per week with varied and flexible shifts/days, likely to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. This position will be from 5am-12pm and shifts.
