Job summary

The Charming Inns of Charleston seeks a reliable breakfast attendant/bellman for the John Rutledge House Inn in Charleston, SC. The role combines kitchen tasks, guest service in the ballroom or courtyard, and handling room-service trays.

Hours are roughly 6:30am–2:30pm with full-time or part-time options. You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, stand long shifts, and work weekends/holidays. Equal opportunity employer, HR department.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Able to climb stairs (no elevator).
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must stand up to 8 hours per shift.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Prior serving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast trays for delivery in a timely manner.
• Stock juices, yogurt, coffee, and supplies.
• Collect all room-service trays after breakfast.
• Wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean kitchen before, during, and after shift.
• Store deliveries promptly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
• Greet guests on arrival.
• Assist guests with luggage and amenities.
