Job summary

Snooze is seeking a Food Runner in Overland Park, KS who helps deliver hot, quality plates with a friendly, energetic approach. You’ll connect with guests, ensure needs are met, and contribute to a smooth, high-volume service in a breakfast-forward restaurant.

Qualifications

• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
• 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• At least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the perfect plate in a timely manner while connecting with Guests and making sure they have everything they need.
• Garnishes each plate leaving the kitchen according to our standards.
• Maintains knowledge of Snooze HOH Standards (portion sizes, recipes, quality).
• Prepares, stocks, and maintains sufficient levels of food products in stations to ensure smooth service.
• Follows plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
• Closes the HOH properly with opening/closing checklists.
