Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Breakfast Attendant at the Residence Inn Denver Tech Center. You will serve guests in the complimentary breakfast area with a friendly, efficient approach, ensuring tables and spaces are clean and well-organized.

The role requires professional communication and a positive attitude while supporting beverage and food service as needed. The position emphasizes guest relations, knowledge of menus and standards, and the ability to work a varied schedule including evenings

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
• Willing to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and pass TIPs when required.
• Must obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/county/state.
• Able to perform numerical operations and basic cashiering functions.
• Able to read, understand and write simple instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guest and employee encounters with courtesy, attentiveness and service orientation.
• Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality control of menus for cleanliness and appearance.
• Clear, clean and reset tables and hotel spaces per instructions.
• Stock, organize and clean service areas; complete side work each shift.
• Assist with beverage and food service duties, including dishwashing and restocking.
• Provide knowledge of hotel standards, menus, specials and guest services.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cash handling as required.
