Qualifications

Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Buckhead is searching for a part -time Cook to join their culinary team ! This beautiful property has 326 suites and is in the Buckhead fashion district between Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza, and The Shoppes at Buckhead - just blocks from a MARTA rail station!

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the culinary arts, be personable, enjoy guest engagement, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, and have a minimum of 1–2 years of professional line cook experience. Experience in high-volume kitchens or a hotel setting is preferred but not required. Prior experience with breakfast service, particularly operating an omelet station, is highly desirable.

Shift Pattern:Part-Time/ F ull availability is required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate:$15.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Cook, you would be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
