B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced cook for on-site work at Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA. The role focuses on preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining standards, and supporting the kitchen team.

Applicants should have a culinary degree or relevant experience, 2+ years in a kitchen, and the stamina to handle extended hours; health and safety rules are mandatory for all activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• College and/or culinary degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of progressive cook or kitchen experience required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to communicate well across levels.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Extended hours are required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Food quality and production to highest standards. Conducts line checks and audits for consistency and quality.
• Ensure presentation quality with use records and photos; monitor plate setups against standards.
• Follow procurement guidelines; manage food cost and maximize revenue; maintain assets within budget.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by meeting food and beverage standards and addressing concerns promptly.
• Lead by example on food safety and storage; keep a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with team; adhere to SOPs.
