Job summary

Newport Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Breakfast Cook for the Courtyard by Marriott in Collegeville, PA. You will set up and cook to order, manage a breakfast line and assist with banquet events.

Shift is 5:30am–12:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends; pay $17–$19 per hour, full-time (32–40 hours). Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, 401K, daily pay, and special hotel rate discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook (6 months to a year of experience preferred).
• Knowledge of various cooking methods.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask multiple orders at once.

Responsibilities

• Food preparations and cooking to menu specifications.
• Kitchen operations—FIFO, cleanliness, changing fryer oil, storage organization, dishes, inventory, breaking down deliveries, etc...
• Ensuring food safety standards.
• Delivering orders to guests.
• Executing meals for private banquet events when contracted (breakfast & lunches).

The Lead Breakfast Cook is responsible for setting up, executing meals to order and managing a line station for the Bistro while also preparing and executing banquet functions. We seek highly motivated team members. Our ideal candidates should exude a passion for the hospitality industry that will attract and inspire our team members to cultivate an exceptional guest experience.

Please note: public transportation does not run start of shift- must have other form of reliable transportation

Type: Full TIme (32-40 hours/week)

Hours:5:30am-12:30pm. Primarily Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends required. End time could extend to 2pm during the occasional banquet lunch contracted (aware in advanced)

Pay: $17-$19/hr
