Job summary

Délice Breton is a family-owned French bistro, crêperie, and market in San Juan Capistrano. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Breakfast Cook to join our Back-of-House team full-time.

This is a hands‑on kitchen role for someone who already understands prep, breakfast/lunch service, food safety, clean stations, and the pace of a professional kitchen. The right person will have the opportunity to grow into a Kitchen Lead role over time.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paid professional kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handler Card.
• Comfortable with breakfast and lunch service.

Responsibilities

• Opening the kitchen and completing morning prep
• Following recipes, portioning ingredients, and maintaining food quality
• Preparing breakfast items, eggs, omelets, potatoes, bacon, and other hot menu items
• Assembling hot and cold croissants, sandwiches, salads, and avocado toasts
• Learning our sweet and savory crêpe techniques
• Keeping stations clean, stocked, organized, and sanitary
• Labeling, dating, storing, and rotating food properly
• Receiving deliveries and helping keep storage organized
• Sharing dishwashing, cleaning, and closing responsibilities with the BOH team
