Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in busy kitchen or food preparation area.
• Experience in restaurant, catering, hospital, hospitality, or healthcare food services as a plus.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand English and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for next meal service, including chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
• Ensure compliance with health department and company regulations.
• Check food temperatures prior to meal service.
• Garnish plates before they leave the kitchen area.
• Assist with other kitchen functions as necessary (dishwasher, utilities, line cook, prep cook).
