Essential Job Functions

1. Follow recipes to prepare food items accordingly.
2. Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables; cut, trim, or clean meat.
3. Prepare appetizers, salads, or cold dishes.
4. Bake breads, rolls, or other baked goods.
5. Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service or delivery to guests.
6. Maintain clean and sanitized work areas such as cutting boards, counters, and workspaces.
7. Secure and store food items properly.
8. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
9. Follow safe food handling procedures.
10. Adhere to sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
11. Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
12. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

1. High School diploma preferred.
2. Previous culinary experience or equivalent training required.
3. Department of Health Sanitation certificate may be required.

Work Environment and Context

1. Work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
2. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
