Join Our Kitchen Team: Cheeca Lodge & Spa, a prestigious resort in Islamorada, is seeking a skilled Cook to enhance our culinary team. In this role, you'll contribute to our renowned dining experiences, including Atlantic's Edge Restaurant, Mia Cucina Italian Kitchen, room service, and tiki bars. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant, diverse environment.

Weekends - Saturday/Sunday availability required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following health standards.
• Follow detailed instructions for food preparation to ensure quality and consistency.
• Strive for perfection in dish presentation and waste management.
• Participate in team briefings to stay aligned with kitchen goals.
• Present a professional appearance and friendly demeanor, even under pressure.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well under pressure.

Training:

• Complete safety training, including proper lifting procedures and kitchen safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary degree is a plus.
• 1-2 years of culinary experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
