We are seeking a passionate individual about cooking to join our team. Creativity, motivation, and a desire to grow your culinary talents are essential.

Successful candidates will have prior experience in a professional kitchen, with a strong desire to learn, develop skills, and collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create menus reflecting seasonal availability and restaurant concepts.

The Line Cook assists the Chef in food production and preparation for various settings including kitchen prep, cafeteria, banquets, dining room, and fine dining. The role involves passive leadership in maintaining adequate production levels.

Your Role:
  • Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods
  • Enhance skills in using knives and kitchen equipment
  • Recreate menu items for restaurant and banquets
  • Ensure consistency in cooking and presentation
  • Minimize food waste through cross-utilization
  • Set up workstations with ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat)
  • Follow kitchen sanitization standards
  • Properly store all food and items
  • Maintain responsibility for ingredient quality
Qualifications:
  • Active Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain it
  • Willingness to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Desire to exceed expectations
  • Energetic personality
