The hotel breakfast chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality morning meals. Duties include setting up the breakfast buffet, cooking made-to-order items, strictly adhering to food safety regulations, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth, timely service for hotel guests.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare breakfast staples like eggs, meats, pastries, and hot/cold buffet items according to standard recipes.
• Station Setup & Maintenance: Organize and stock the breakfast buffet, plating stations, and kitchen prep areas before service begins.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Maintain strict hygiene standards, monitor food holding temperatures, and ensure all storage areas follow health and safety codes.
• Inventory & Ordering: Track ingredient levels, restock supplies, and report shortages to the executive chef or Food & Beverage (F&B) manager.
• Guest Service: Accommodate special dietary requests and ensure the food presentation is appealing to provide a great start to guests' days.
