Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring a full-time breakfast cook at La Vista Embassy Suites in La Vista, NE. You will prepare and cook breakfast items using standardized recipes, support breakfast setup and kitchen opening/closing, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

The role requires 6 months of kitchen or food service experience, and Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Qualifications

• 6 months+ kitchen or food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to obtain Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certs within 60 days if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast items using standardized recipes.
• Assist with breakfast setup, line prep, and kitchen opening/closing.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations.
• Ensure food is prepped for the following day and rotate inventory.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare and cook breakfast items with consistency and care using standardized recipes
• Support breakfast setup, line prep, and kitchen opening/closing duties
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations
• Ensure food is prepped for the following day and assist with inventory rotation

What We Are Looking For:

• Prior culinary or food service experience (6 months preferred)
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
• A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary certification is a plus
