Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix North Happy Valley is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare all breakfast items per standardized recipes for the Complimentary Breakfast Area while upholding cleanliness, safety, and cost controls. This role requires knowledge of hotel standards and the ability to work in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and a Food Handler certification, with clear communication and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain attendance per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming as per brand standards.
• Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations for safe operations.
• Comply with certification requirements applicable to position (Food Handlers, Safety, etc.).
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Know menus and required preparation per hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items for Complimentary Breakfast.
• Prepare and service food for Complimentary Breakfast per Food Production Manager guidance.
• Follow Aimbridge Hospitality standard recipes; prepare specials under supervision.
• Breakdown buffets and kitchen line; store food and equipment properly.
• Be familiar with hotel policies, house rules, and emergency procedures.
• Attend meetings as required by management; perform other duties as requested.
• Maintain a high level of trust and sound judgement.
