Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to ensure a positive breakfast experience for guests. You will prepare and present items, greet guests warmly, and maintain a clean, organized service area while upholding health and safety standards.

This role expects stamina to stand for up to 8 hours, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to support inventory and cross-department needs to ensure smooth service every morning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required, hospitality experience a plus.
• Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Food handler’s permit may be required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of breakfast items per recipes.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Keep service area clean and organized, following health codes.
• Ensure breakfast items are stocked and visible throughout service hours.
• Monitor deliveries for quality and appropriate portioning.
• Uphold health department regulations and sanitation standards.
• Regularly inspect storage, cleanliness, and stock rotation.
• Support inventory of food and beverages to minimize waste.
• Be a cooperative, positive team member and communicate across departments.
• Adhere to company policies and be ready to assist in emergencies.
