Job summary

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented part-time Breakfast Attendant to greet guests and serve our full breakfast buffet. Shifts begin between 5 to 6 AM and end around 12:30 PM, with additional hours possible based on availability and demand.

You will provide food and beverage service, maintain cleanliness, assist the service team, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in a foodservice environment preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Must adhere to hotel policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides food and beverage service to guests in the breakfast room.
• Sets up breakfast at scheduled time.
• Prepares food and beverages to brand standard breakfast program guidelines.
• Ensures breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire breakfast area and kitchen, including equipment, during and after breakfast hours.
• Inventories breakfast items regularly and helps unload weekly food order.
• Clears tables during the breakfast experience using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware and silverware in a timely manner.
• Cleans tables, chairs and floor area.
• Assists service team as necessary to meet and exceed the guests’ expectations.
• Adheres to hotel and brand safety and security procedures in addition to local, county and/or city health department standards.

The Country Inn & Suites is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented part-time Breakfast Attendant to help host and serve our full breakfast buffet. Shifts begin between 5 to 6 AM and last until approximately 12:30 PM. Additional hours may be available based upon associate availability and seasonal demand.

Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Provides food and beverage service to guests in the breakfast room

Sets up breakfast at scheduled time

• Prepares food and beverage to brand standard breakfast program guidelines
• Ensure breakfast items are replenished and available to guests during breakfast hours according to standards
• Maintain cleanliness of entire breakfast area and kitchen, including equipment, during and after breakfast hours

Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. • Communicates and reinforces the vision for customer service to all managers, supervisors and employees
• Creates an environment that encourages employees to provide the service brand behavior hospitality and teamwork
• Ensures that all minimum requirements of the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee are in place and understood by all employees
• Ensures that the hotel delivers 100% Guest Satisfaction by developing customer feedback avenues (soliciting input, reports, etc.) and focusing management team on identifying trends and developing and implementing solutions
• Creates an environment that provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver the service brand behavior and teamwork

Performs other duties as required by Management to provide 100% Guest Satisfaction and genuine hospitality to our Guest

Requirements/Skills

• Experience in a foodservice environment preferredbut not required
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling all situations
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to transport up to 50 lbs occasionally through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to hear with 100% accuracy with correction
• Ability to stand and exert well paced mobility for an eight (8) hour shift
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basis
• Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
