Job summary

Hyatt House BWI in Linthicum Heights, MD is seeking a Hotel Breakfast Attendant to prepare and maintain the breakfast bar for guests. You will set up food displays, keep items stocked and presented, and ensure cleanliness while greeting guests with friendly service.

The role supports brand standards and sustainability. Flexibility including weekends/holidays is required; prior food service experience is helpful, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food sanitation certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training.
• Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry food, dishes, trays, or silverware from pantry to serving counters.
• Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness to ensure food safety.
• Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean up spills and remove trash.
• Maintain supplies of items such as glassware, dishes, or trays.
• Fill beverage and ice dispensers.
• Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments.
• Locate and provide items requested by guests.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, or equipment; mop or vacuum floors.
• Commit to guest satisfaction and safety standards.
