Job summary

Shaner Hotels, overseeing the Hampton Inn Taos project in Taos, NM, seeks an energetic breakfast attendant to greet guests and manage the breakfast bar operations. You will set up, serve, maintain, and break down breakfast items, replenishing as needed while upholding quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of local attractions to guide guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area.
• Set up, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items and replenish as needed.
• Assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to guests, courteously and efficiently.
• Follow maintenance program, safety rules and cleaning schedule; assist with inventories as scheduled.
