Base pay range

The Hampton Inn West Haven CT is seeking a Breakfast Attendant responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality service to guests during breakfast hours.

Essential Functions

1. Approach all guest and employee interactions with attentiveness, friendliness, courtesy, and a service-oriented mindset.
2. Ensure that bar, food, and service areas are stocked, organized, clean, and that all side work is completed during each shift.
3. Prepare breakfast items and restock as needed during service hours.
4. Communicate with departments regarding VIP guests and special requests.
5. Support beverage and food service areas as necessary.
6. Share knowledge about the hotel, amenities, and menu options.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic English verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain food handler certification as required.
• Physical ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
