Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a part-time breakfast host to support breakfast operations at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Salida, CO. You will oversee a quality breakfast bar, assist with setup, service, maintenance, and teardown while delivering friendly guest service.

Ideal candidates have a passion for food and beverage and a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and QA standards during hotel breakfast hours with variable hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is a plus.
• Must follow Quality Assurance and Health Department standards.
• Satisfactory criminal background screening required

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards of the breakfast bar during hotel hours.
• Ensure food quality and quantity are correct.
• Keep kitchen neat and clean; wash, dry, and store dishes; sweep and mop floors.
• Rotate food and manage inventory levels.
• Teardown of breakfast bar at end of service.
• Greet guests and promote guest satisfaction.
• Follow Quality Assurance and Health Department standards.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing a quality breakfast bar, including set-up, serving, maintenance, teardown, and clean-up.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain quality standards of the breakfast bar throughout the hotel breakfast hours
• Ensure food quality and quantity are correct
• Maintain a neat and orderly kitchen: wash, dry, and put away all dishes, sweep and mop floors, vacuum rugs, clean countertops, empty trash, clean cupboards, drawers, and clean refrigerator and freezer
• Rotate food
• Maintain proper levels of inventory
• Daily teardown of breakfast bar
• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction
• Welcome each guest with a smile and greeting
• Must follow all Quality Assurance and Health Department standards
