Job summary

Tru by Hilton Norwalk is seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our team. If you are an early riser with food service, restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, or customer service experience, we’d love to meet you. Paid training is provided to help mornings be great for our guests.

This role focuses on a clean, welcoming breakfast area and collaboration with front desk and housekeeping. Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, restaurant, cafeteria, kitchen, hotel or hospitality preferred (not required).
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
• Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Food handler's card or ServSafe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the complimentary breakfast area.
• Prepare and serve breakfast items (eggs, waffles, sausage, fruit, cereal, coffee, juice).
• Greet guests with a warm smile and positive attitude.
• Keep food fresh, hot, and replenished; clean and sanitize tables and breakfast area.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the complimentary breakfast area
• Prepare and serve breakfast items, including eggs, waffles, sausage, fruit, cereal, coffee, and juice
• Greet guests with a warm smile and a positive attitude
• Keep food fresh, hot, and replenished throughout breakfast serviceClean and sanitize tables, buffet areas, dishes, utensils, and the breakfast kitchen
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling guidelines
• Break down the breakfast area and restock supplies after service
• Report any guest concerns or supply needs to the front desk or manager
• Work closely with the front desk and housekeeping teams

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, cafeteria, kitchen, hotel, or hospitality preferred (not required)
• Friendly, outgoing personality and strong guest service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler's card or ServSafe is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
