Job summary

Wright Investments in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a Breakfast Attendant responsible for setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet according to brand standards. This role requires excellent guest service as well as monitoring and replenishing breakfast items during service hours.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to work safely with cleaning materials, and be available on weekends and holidays. The position includes benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Job description

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast buffet in accordance with brand standards and health department regulations. The role may also support maintaining the breakfast dining area and assisting guests throughout the breakfast period.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet area with appropriate utensils, condiments, and equipment to receive prepared menu items.
• Prepare and/or cook designated menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Monitor and replenish breakfast items throughout the shift to maintain full stock during service hours.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including washing and sanitizing work areas, walls, and storage areas; remove trash as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
• Notify supervisor of inventory needs or concerns.
• Complete all assigned closing duties before the end of shift.
• Maintain awareness of safety and security issues and report any concerns immediately.
• Demonstrate teamwork and support by performing additional duties as needed or assigned.

Job Environment & Physical Requirements

• Primarily indoors within hotel facilities.
• Standing for prolonged periods (up to 4+ hours).
• Frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent stretching, bending, stooping, or squatting.
• Exposure to varying temperatures (coolers, freezers).
