Job summary

Murfreesboro Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring for a full-time position focused on breakfast service and guest satisfaction. You will help prepare and present breakfast and/or evening receptions, keep areas clean, and assist with light food prep and restocking.

No experience? Great attitude and teamwork can get you started; restaurant or cashier experience is a plus, and certifications in Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness are preferred or achievable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, customer service, or cashier roles preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs during shifts.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception.
• Keep buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment clean and guest-ready.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and address questions or concerns promptly.
• Support light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or bar/service areas as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards for a safe environment.
• Monitor food quality and proper storage/temperature throughout shift.
• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly.
• Communicate key updates during shift changes to stay aligned.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies; report issues as needed.

Compensation Range : $15.00 - $15.75 / hour

• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally

• Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members

• Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift

• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently

• Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned

• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed

What We Are Looking For:

• No experience? No problem! If you have a great attitude and love teamwork, we’ll teach you the rest

• Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred

• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
