Overview

The Breakfast Attendant provides exceptional service to hotel guests in the breakfast area, ensuring a courteous and efficient experience.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
2. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of menus and service areas.
3. Clear, clean, and reset tables and hotel spaces as needed.
4. Stock and organize service areas, complete side work each shift.
5. Handle guest requests and communicate with departments regarding VIP guests.
6. Support beverage and food service, including dishwashing, restocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
7. Know standards for room service and menu specials.
8. Perform cashiering duties and end-of-shift paperwork.
9. Follow opening and closing procedures and station duties.
10. Answer questions about the hotel, local attractions, and services.
11. Assist in producing high-quality drinks as required.
12. Perform any additional duties or attend meetings as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to work varied hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving courses such as TIPs.
