Responsibilities

• Must know and understand the process, equipment and all positions on the line and be able to fill in as needed.
• Must make sure the line is clean and running properly at all times
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects (natural defects such as bruises and blood spots; processing defects include foreign material and out of spec products).
• Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
• Note: Abnormal situations include product tampering, willful product adulteration, unauthorized employees in restricted areas, and potential adulteration or equipment malfunctions that may affect wholesomeness.
