Job summary

Scratch Bakery Cafe in Laguna Hills, CA is hiring a Bread Baker for overnight shifts. You’ll mix, shape, and bake sourdough, marbled rye, baguettes, Manna Buns, and focaccia using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.

This is a full-time/part-time overnight role (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) with a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days, 50% off meals, employee discounts, paid training, and growth as we open new locations in the area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of baking experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality
• Available for overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Able to lift and carry 50 lb bags of flour and ingredients

Responsibilities

• Mix, shape, and bake breads using sourdough starters and commercial yeast
• Follow established recipes and production schedules
• Monitor ovens and adjust baking processes for consistent results
• Collaborate with the team on new bread varieties
