Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in Lincolnton, NC is seeking a Brazing Operations Startup Associate to support the rollout of a new production line. You will learn the process during startup, help develop local work instructions and standards, and may travel overseas for training.

You will collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality, train new production associates on the shift, and assist with loading, operating, changing over, and maintaining machines while aiming to meet daily targets

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Vocational schooling a plus.
3–5 years brazing experience or similar processes.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Excellent communication skills – spoken and written.
Ability to learn new processes, machines and technology.
Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime.
Stand and be mobile for up to 8 hours; good hand dexterity.
Read and follow instructions; read product prints and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

Support startup and implementation of brazing operation.
Learn the process and help develop local work instructions and standards.
Actively communicate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality.
Train and monitor new production associates on the shift.
Load/unload, operate, adjust, change-over, maintain machines; aid 5S and troubleshoot.
Aim to reach daily production targets.
