Bodycote in Fremont, CA is seeking a Braze Assembly C to perform essential heat treatment duties under the leadership of the Assembly Leadperson. You will inspect parts, assemble per blueprints, promote safety, and safeguard customer inventory while supporting EMS compliance.
The role requires reading blueprints, basic brazing experience, and basic computer skills; ITAR compliance is required for U.S. citizens or permanent residents. 1:00pm-9:30pm shift, with training on 1st shift.

Based in Fremont, CA the Braze Assembly C will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Assembly Leadperson to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed.

Education – High school diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience in brazing
Must be able to read blueprints/specifications
Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.
The hours for this position are 1:00pm - 9:30pm, Mon-Fri. Training is required on 1st shift; 5:00am - 1:30pm for approximately 2 weeks.
The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.
Must be able to work in a sitting position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving, and/or on airplane travel) in an office/industrial environment.
Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
Ability to bend, pull, stoop, climb, twist, and reach to perform functions.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
Ability to hear in person and via phone.
The hourly pay range for this position is $23.00 – $25.00per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.
