Dow Jones - Media Sales is seeking an Associate Editor for The Trust’s Editorial Team. The role focuses on copy editing, QA of branded content across digital and print, and writing social distribution copy for client partners.

The candidate will maintain editorial standards, collaborate with editors, client success managers, designers, developers, and clients to ensure timely delivery across finance, technology, B2C, B2B, healthcare, government, and luxury verticals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, or related field.
• 1–3 years of writing and editing experience in branded/editorial environments.
• Superior proofreading and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of AP Style.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with finance, technology, or business journalism helpful.
• Ability to adapt voice to WSJCC style and client needs.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Copy editing of all supplied content for accuracy and style.
• Quality assurance across digital, print, and video deliverables.
• Craft social media and advertising copy.
• Coordinate updates to copy edit and QA processes.
• Revise deliverables and social distribution docs.
• Write, edit, and proofread internal marketing requests.
• Verify sources and conduct fact-checking research.
• Collaborate with account managers, writers, editors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Upload content into CMS for multiple programs.
