Job summary

White Tie Productions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced designer who can study a brand and build a distinct visual world for each show, collaborating with Creative and A/V teams to extend graphics across large-format screens and event assets.

You should understand how designs translate into motion and create layered artwork for animators, with a focus on typography and detail. This role offers opportunities to support live events and shoots while maintaining production timelines.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating typography, composition, image treatment, and visual storytelling.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• Understanding how good still designs translate into motion.
• Experience creating entertainment or live-event branded graphics.

Responsibilities

• Translate brand guidelines into still visuals using Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Develop key art, title treatments, textures, and typography systems.
• Design graphics with animation, transitions, and screen environments in mind.
• Create organized, editable project files and layered assets for the Creative Team.
• Collaborate during brainstorms, design reviews, and concept development.
• Present ideas and explain design decisions clearly.
• Balance ambitious ideas with production timelines and technical requirements.
• Support live events and video shoots when needed.
