Job summary

City of Chaska is seeking a Graphic Design Coordinator to lead the design and production of marketing materials, publications, and digital content that strengthen the City’s brand and connect residents with programs and events.

Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, you will collaborate across departments to develop engaging visuals, maintain branding standards, and coordinate content for City communications, while supporting accessibility and digital outreach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or closely related field.
• Associates degree with 3–5 years graphic design/communications experience also qualifies.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in municipal government or community services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and production of marketing materials, publications, and digital content.
• Maintain City branding guidelines and ensure consistency across channels.
• Coordinate major City publications such as annual guides and newsletters.
• Develop and execute community-focused communication strategies and digital content.
• Create and manage visual assets, including photography and asset library.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
