Job summary

Experience Champaign Urbana is seeking a Brand Designer to support the Brand Design Service. You will work with StratCom's social media team to craft engaging graphics for the university's main accounts and help review campus advertising campaigns with marketing teams.

You will provide design support for campus marketing communications, present work to clients, and collaborate with outside vendors such as photographers and printers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create branded designs for digital and print.
• Strong sense of typography and visual hierarchy.
• Experience collaborating with marketing and communications teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with StratCom's social media team to create engaging, timely graphics for main university accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing and media management to review campus advertising campaigns.
• Provide design support for university marketing communications to strengthen the brand.
• Present work to clients clearly and explain how creative responds to goals and audiences.
• Collaborate with outside vendors such as video producers, photographers, and printers as needed.
• Produce branded designs for digital and print and create web mockups for front-end implementation.
• Advance university brand standards through research of design trends.
