Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition – Brands to lead recruiting for design, creative, product development, merchandising, and related brand functions across Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta.

Qualifications

• Deep design and creative recruiting expertise in apparel or fashion.
• Experience leading large recruiting teams across multiple brands.
• Ability to translate brand strategy into talent plans.
• Strong relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Brands TA team and set clear expectations for performance and accountability.
• Own the Brands recruiting strategy translating brand identities and priorities into talent plans.
• Advise senior brand and HR leaders on talent needs and trade-offs.
• Build pipelines for critical capabilities in design and creative.
• Oversee cross-functional recruiting pods and establish operating rhythms.
• Develop hiring manager capability and an inclusive candidate experience.
• Use data and market intel to diagnose and improve hiring quality and outcomes.
• Lead select critical searches and partner with Executive Search on leadership hiring.
• Support internal mobility and cohort programs with Talent Mgmt and Early Talent teams.
• Lead adoption of TA playbooks, technology, and AI to improve efficiency.
