Job summary

A+E Global Media seeks a Director of Brand Studio Live Action & Photo Production to lead day-to-day operations, align cross-functional teams, and drive scalable production models across live action, video, and photography. You will manage budgets, staffing, and delivery while upholding creative excellence and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant production experience leading live action, video, and photo production within entertainment, media, or related industries.
• At least 5 years of direct people management experience: leading, coaching, and developing teams and partners.
• At least 5 years managing multiple concurrent productions from creative brief through delivery.
• At least 5 years overseeing production planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, vendor sourcing, negotiation, logistics, post-production, delivery, asset management, and archive.
• At least 5 years experience across the full production lifecycle, including rights/usage considerations and archive.
• At least 5 years experience owning production budget oversight, including bids, estimates, actuals, cost tracking, and vendor negotiations.
• At least 5 years experience collaborating across Creative, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Production Operations, Talent, and external partners.
• Able to travel and work occasional nights or weekends when production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of Brand Studio Live Action & Photo Production, ensuring prioritization, resourcing, budget, delivery, and archiving.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; align capacity and priorities with Sr. EP.
• Oversee production from brief to final delivery, ensuring right approach, budget, staffing, vendor model, and asset-path.
• Lead talent, photo, marketing, social, digital, and Storyground shoots and related needs.
• Serve as primary production partner to cross-functional teams; balance creative goals with timelines and rights.
• Establish clear communication across teams to surface issues and escalate as needed.
• Develop scalable production models and maintain a network of production partners and freelancers.
• Own production budget oversight, including bids, actuals, cost tracking, and recommendations.
• Improve workflow and asset-management practices for efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Legal/Business Affairs, Risk, Finance, Talent, and others to ensure contracts and releases are handled timely.
