Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Brand Strategy & Activation Advisor to shape how our brand comes to life across the enterprise. You will drive brand adoption, partner with Marketing, Operations, Digital, and Technology, and lead cross-functional projects to deliver consistent, high-quality brand experiences for customers, clients, and stakeholders.

You’ll join Evernorth Health Services and contribute to enterprise brand initiatives, training, and governance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years in brand strategy, marketing, brand management, communications, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business (preferred).
  • Experience supporting enterprise brand initiatives and translating strategy into actionable programs and experiences.
  • Strong project management skills in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining execution excellence.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, digital, technology, creative agencies, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks and drive decisions.
  • Experience developing training, enablement, or communication programs.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving playbooks.
  • Passion for branding, customer experience, and delivering high-quality brand experiences.

  • Ability to work from a Cigna Group office 3 days a week.

As a Brand Strategy & Management Advisor, you will help shape how our brand comes to life across the enterprise by driving consistency, strengthening brand adoption, and enabling impactful experiences for our customers, clients, and stakeholders. Responsibilities

Focused on brand stewardship, strategic execution, and enterprise impact

  • Champion the enterprise brand strategy by guiding the successful rollout, adoption, and implementation of brand initiatives across the organization.
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Digital, Technology, and other key stakeholders to translate brand objectives into actionable plans that drive consistency and business results.

  • Support broader brand team initiatives, including strategic planning, operational excellence, brand governance, training, and capability development.
Ideal Candidates Will Offer
  • Minimum 6 + years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, brand management, communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred, not required).
  • Experience supporting enterprise brand initiatives and translating strategy into actionable programs and experiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success working in highly matrixed organizations and influencing outcomes across teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution excellence.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including marketing, operations, digital, technology, creative agencies, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risks, develop solutions, and drive decisions forward.
  • Experience developing training, enablement, or communication programs that support adoption and organizational alignment.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 103,100 - 171,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
