Job summary

Essense of Australia is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Brand Marketing team in Lenexa, KS. You will write and edit across brand websites, store communications, LinkedIn, blogs and internal channels, translating business needs into on-brand messaging.

You'll lead long-form content, surface trend insights for brides and retailers, and leverage AI to streamline research, accelerate ideas and strengthen voice while maintaining consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of communications experience across multiple formats and audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, business, communications, marketing, English or related field preferred.
• Sharp, confident writer with strong editorial instinct and fluency in AP style.
• Proven experience building media relationships and securing earned placements across print, digital, and trade outlets.
• Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit content across communications channels including websites, store communications, LinkedIn, blogs and internal communications.
• Develop communications for internal and external audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Maintain company style guidelines and brand standards with polished, accurate messaging.
• Use AI tools to streamline processes, accelerate research and strengthen brand voice.
• Support communications planning for initiatives, launches, events and internal programs in partnership with leadership.
• Coordinate wholesale translation processes with international teams and ensure consistent messaging."
• Monitor communications performance and identify opportunities to improve content and execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet business needs and resonate with target audiences.
