Job summary

Vans in Des Peres, MO seeks a Store Manager to lead the store’s performance, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and build a high-performing, inclusive team aligned with VF values.

You will drive sales, manage people, operations, visual merchandising, and partnerships with local marketing events while coaching staff and upholding safety standards in a fast-paced retail setting. This role champions brand values and oversees recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related professional/retail management experience.
• Undergraduate or graduate degrees are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Model exceptional customer service and selling behaviors to elevate the in-store experience.
• Partner with store leaders and associates to achieve and exceed sales goals and monitor KPIs.
• Lead people management activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations.
• Shape store culture to align with company values and foster a positive team environment.
• Provide coaching and training in customer service, product knowledge, and operational excellence.
• Oversee store operations including scheduling, expenses, loss prevention, audits, and reporting.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and inventory through proper shipping/receiving procedures.
• Support store marketing events and community engagement initiatives to drive traffic.
