Job summary

Misfits Market is seeking a Social Video Editor & Producer to bring our brand story to life through short-form video. You’ll film and edit content for brand, organic, and performance ads across Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and emergent channels, reporting to the Creative Director.

You thrive on crafting thumb-stopping stories about the food system, adapt quickly to our tone and visuals, and enjoy rapid testing to see what resonates. This role blends creativity with speed and impact.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of short-form video production for a brand.
• Able to turn a brief into a polished video within a week.
• Strong understanding of brand marketing and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with social metrics and growth indicators.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit video content for organic social, onsite, and paid social.
• Collaborate with Growth marketing to test video ad concepts and optimize CAC/ROAS.
• Produce iterations of winning ads based on performance learnings.
• Stay up-to-date with social video trends and platform innovations.
• Drive storytelling that’s strategic and aligned with the Brand team guidance.
• Shoot on-location or in-house, including occasional travel.
• Maintain a structured content library of assets for remixing.
