Job summary

Discord is seeking a Senior Policy Lead for Brand Safety and Anti-Malware within the Commercial Policy function. You’ll own policy strategy, partner with Legal, Revenue, Product, Engineering, and Enforcement to scale safety as the Ads business grows.

The role involves exposure to potentially disturbing content and requires building guidelines, working with advertisers, industry groups, and internal teams, plus developing user-facing communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in advertising policy or brand safety roles.
• Experience with programmatic/digital advertising ecosystems.
• Ability to translate policy into actionable guidance.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve brand safety, suitability, and anti-malvertising policies.
• Guide revenue product teams through policy considerations across lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to manage risk.
• Communicate policy guidance to advertisers and industry groups.
• Create user-facing policy communications for Help Center and blogs.
