Job description

JOB SUMMARY The Brand Operations Senior Manager leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of brand programs that translate strategy into consistent, executable hotel experiences across a multi-brand portfolio. This senior individual contributor independently leads multiple complex initiatives from concept through implementation and measurement, combining strategic thinking, operational expertise, data, and financial considerations to strengthen the guest experience and support owner and operator performance. The role evaluates opportunities, develops recommendations, leads pilots and implementation planning, and drives alignment across internal and external stakeholders. As a trusted partner to internal teams, field leaders, franchisees, hotel operators, vendors, and senior stakeholders, this position operates with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, accountability, and follow-through.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development, planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of priority brand programs aligned with annual and multi-year brand objectives, translating strategy and insights into clear scopes, requirements, timelines, deliverables, ownership, implementation plans, and success measures. Evaluate program opportunities using operational feasibility, scalability, guest impact, owner and operator value, financial considerations, and alignment with brand strategy to develop clear recommendations. Lead end-to-end pilots and tests, including scope definition, property and stakeholder coordination, vendor management, issue resolution, field feedback, implementation readiness, measurement, and post-pilot recommendations. Partner with Finance, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to establish measurement plans, synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, and evaluate return on investment and cost-of-ownership considerations. Independently lead multiple concurrent cross-functional workstreams by developing integrated project plans, establishing governance and decision points, aligning stakeholders, managing dependencies and risks, and escalating issues with clear options and recommendations. Maintain transparent and current visibility into program performance and proactively communicate progress, decisions, risks, delays, dependencies, and blockers to appropriate stakeholders. Develop and coordinate implementation and communication strategies, including toolkits, guidance, reporting, training and socialization plans, stakeholder communications, and concise leadership‑ready materials. Serve as a senior point of contact for field teams, franchisees, hotel operators, vendors, and internal partners, resolving program questions and connecting stakeholders with appropriate resources as needed. Support the development, audit, and maintenance of brand standards, guidelines, fee schedules, budget guidance, vendor materials, and related documentation to promote consistency, quality, accuracy, and version control.

QUALIFICATIONS

Employment Experience 5+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, brand management, hotel operations, consulting, product or program management, or a related field, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives. Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross‑functional programs from concept through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement. Hotel operations experience and broad knowledge of rooms, food and beverage, and front‑and‑back‑of‑house operations preferred. Experience working within a franchise, multi‑brand, or distributed operating environment strongly preferred.

Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook, with familiarity working in SharePoint and OneDrive environments. Strong project and portfolio management capabilities, including integrated work plans, governance, risk and dependency tracking, status reporting, and implementation planning. Ability to use consumer, operational, and financial data, business cases, and return‑on‑investment or cost considerations to develop recommendations and support decision‑making. Ability and interest in responsibly using AI‑enabled productivity tools to improve work quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Additional Skills & Competencies Strategic thinking combined with strong execution discipline and the ability to operate effectively through ambiguity and shifting priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop concise, executive‑ready materials tailored to varied audiences. Strong organization, attention to detail, quality control, and follow‑through, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks, inconsistencies, delays, and blockers. Sound judgment, curiosity, creativity, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop clear options and actionable recommendations. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Formal project management training or certification, such as PMP, preferred but not required.
