Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking an Executive Marketing Assistant to provide high-level executive support to the Chief Marketing Officer and senior leadership, while overseeing key marketing projects. The role combines executive support with project management to drive operational excellence in a dynamic marketing environment.

Based in North Bethesda, MD, the position is four days onsite with hybrid flexibility. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of executive support, project management, marketing operations, or related field.
• Experience supporting senior or C-level executives preferred.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a corporate or marketing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and travel arrangements for the CMO and up to three Vice Presidents.
• Coordinate and prioritize executive communications, requests, and action items.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership meetings.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, executive reviews, and board-level presentations.
• Serve as a liaison between executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners.
• Handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Track follow-ups and ensure timely completion of deliverables and commitments.
• Manage and coordinate marketing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and status reporting for cross-functional initiatives.
• Conduct research and support strategic marketing initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration across marketing functions including brand, digital, communications, and loyalty.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Lead project status meetings and maintain documentation.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, approvals, and milestones.
• Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and partners.
• Support annual planning processes and track departmental goals and engagement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project tracking tools, workflows, and dashboards.
• Monitor project performance and key departmental KPIs.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement efforts.
• Coordinate team meetings, offsites, and special events.

The position combines executive support responsibilities with project management oversight to drive operational excellence within a dynamic marketing environment. The role operates with a high level of autonomy, organization, and attention to detail. Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship AND is four days onsite hybrid at our North Bethesda, MD office.**

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Employment Experience

• 5+ years of experience in executive support, project management, marketing operations, or a related field
• Experience supporting senior or C-level executives preferred
• Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a corporate or marketing environment

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
• Experience with project management tools
• Strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint or equivalent)

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $117,552.00.
